National Upholstery & Carpet Cleaners Association, INC.

NUCCA is a nationally registered Australian body, formed in 1995.

NUCCA is the only Australian, unaligned, trade association representing the interests of all professionals involved in the carpet and upholstery cleaning, and restoration industries. Whether you are a sole trader or a large carpet cleaning or restoration company, the benefits are applicable to you & your company.

NUCCA is a non-profit association owned by the members with all benefits passing to the members.

CODE OF ETHICS
In accordance with the Constitution, NUCCA has a Code of Ethics, which must be strictly adhered to by all members. This serves to lift the profile and image of the industry.

 OFFICE BEARERS
Annual elections are held in each State division to elect Divisional Presidents and Executive Committee Members, in accordance with statutory requirements. The National Office Bearers are elected by the total membership annually.

NUCCA'S ROLE
NUCCA is dedicated to represent all of its members who may be involved in various facets of the industry including: Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Fire and Smoke Restoration and Water Damage Restoration

NUCCA has aligned itself with the longest serving international training body in the world, the 11CRC (institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) and by becoming a shareholder of 11CRC, has access to the most experienced and qualified trainers in the industry, both nationally and internationally, together with information on the latest products, systems and technology.

NUCCA believes that all technicians should be qualified and accredited. Schools conducted by Jena Dyco and Advanced Specialised Equipment are recognised and supported by NUCCA. Information concerning dates and locations of courses can be obtained by phoning NUCCA on 1800 621872.

NUCCA works in close association with other industry *Complaint handling procedure A54269:95 bodies such as the Carpet Institute of Australia (CIA),  adopted for members' protection. and the Building Service Contractors Association of  Australia (BSCAA) and is affiliated with the Carpet Cleaners • Regular meetings and discussions. Association of New Zealand and the Master Cleaners Guild of Western Australia.

 NUCCA actively works with Standards Australia to develop and review industry standards, was involved in the development of AS/NZS:3733 (Carpet Cleaning) and is now participating in the development of standards for Upholstery Cleaning and Water Damage.

An Introduction to NUCCA

We would like to introduce you to the National Upholstery and Carpet Cleaners Association Inc. 

NUCCA is registered nationally with the Australian Securities Commission to represent the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, Maintenance, Protection and Restoration Industry. NUCCA is a nominating body with representation in Standards Australia (responsible for AS/NZ Standard 3733:1995).

NUCCA is a democratic, non profit organisation, run by members, for the benefit of members. 
NUCCA also has many Associate members such as Sonitron, Whiteley Industries, Carpet Cleaners Warehouse, Clark Equipment Sales ie. suppliers of chemicals and equipment to the industry. Click Here to view Associate and Affiliate Members

It was formed by the unification of three major State based Associations that have been representing our industry for many years. It was formed to represent our industry on a National level for the benefit of members.

Joining NUCCA has many benefits

How to JOIN !!

Read and sign the Application for Membership & Code of Ethics form.

Return to the Association with your cheque for the appropriate amount in the envelope provided.

Your application will be processed in accordance with the rules of the Association. If your application is successful, an Agreement to Use the Trade Mark will be sent to you along with a copy of the Constitution of the Association and further instructions.

This seemingly complicated procedure is to ensure that the integrity of the Association is maintained for the benefit of all members and to ensure ongoing consumer confidence in it's membership.
