John Hickey

CMT, WRT, FST, ASD, UFT, HFT

John Hickey is the CEO of insurance restoration company Belfor Ayline- a subsidiary of Belfor International, which is the largest restoration company in the world. John is also a director of Advanced Specialized Equipment, which he started in 1995.

 

John has been involved in the cleaning and restoration industry for 25 years, previously he was National Sales and Marketing Manager for logistics giant TNT and also Comet Airfreight.

 

John is current president of the Australian Restoration and Carpet Cleaning Association (ARCCA) and has served on the IICRC board of directors for many years. John has been a guest speaker at many trade conferences around the world, as both a motivational speaker and a restoration expert. John has been a registered instructor for 7 years.

 

Grant Hickey

CMT, WRT, ASD, UFT, HFT

Grant Hickey has been in the Cleaning and Restoration Industry for over 18 years.

He is both the Managing Director of Advanced Specialized Equipment and the principal of Interactive Training International. Grant has a diploma in Business Management and Marketing and is IICRC accredited, with 4 years teaching experience both in Australia and overseas.

Grant has served on the board of IICRC and is a Master Restorer and Master Cleaner. One of Grant's more notable achievements is that he is the youngest person in the world to be a qualified Applied Structural Drying instructor.

 

Dane Gregory

SMT

Dane Gregory is the president and CEO of 3-D Corporation which owns Dr. Clean Consultants, a company that provides technical management training to companies worldwide. Many of the experiences of 3-D Corporation focus on Hard Floor care and janitorial services.

Dane is a past president if the IICRC, having served two terms in 1999 and 2000. Dane has served on many committees and advisory committees such as the National Wood Flooring Association, the Ambassadors Club of the Portage County and the IICRC's Technical Advisory Committee.

Dane Currently serves as chair if Stone Ceramic Tile and Masonry Cleaning Technician technical advisory committee. He also chaired the task force for the development of the SMT course.

Dane believes that education and relationship building are paramount to success in any venture. Mindset, perspective and positive choices reflect good attitudes that make relationships work in the business world. Dane has addresses convention audiences on numerous occasions on each of these topics.

 

Carey Vermeulen

AMRT

Carey is a former president of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC). He has an H.S degree from Againcourt Collegiate Institute, Againcourt, Ontario in 1976 and finished a business Administration Course, Durham College, Oshawa in 1982. 

Carey is the president of The GlenCarey Group which performs emergency mitigation, structural drying and mould remediation services for residential and commercial buildings as well as remediation of category 3 water damages. He is an estimator for all restoration services and supervises other technicians performing restoration services.

GlenCarey Group performs upholstery cleaning and repair for residential and commercial applications, performs grout and tile cleaning and maintenance as well as carpet repair and reinstallation. They also perform carpet cleaning for residential and commercial clients.

Carey is a leading figure within the industry, giving guest talks at the recent Dri-Eaz symposium. He is committee chairperson for the IICRC S300 Upholstery standard and has served on the IICRC board of directors and executive committee since 1991 and 2000 respectively. He also writes a monthly column in the ICS trade magazine.

 

Rachel Adams

AMRT

Rachel Adams is the president of Indoor Air Management, she holds a B.S in Environmental Health Sciences from Purdue University as well as a B.S in Medical Technology and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (A.S.C.P).

She has extensive education and experience in mitigating water losses as well as residential buildings that have had water intrusions resulting in mould damage that often couses health damage to the occupants.

Many of her clients are insurance companies as well as remediation firms that require building inspections, microbial sampling and recommendations for remediation of the structure.

Indoor Air Management also offers courses for Mould Remediation and safety for the remediation professionals as well as the insurance industry.

 

Steve Swan

WRT, ASD

Steve is the owner and operator of Swan Cleaning and Restoration in Bellingham, Washington. He has been in the restoration business 1973 and has successfully completed over 8500 water damage claims and 1000 fire damage claims.

Steve has been an instructor for the Carpet Cleaning Insitute of the Northwest (CCINW) and Fiber Cleaning Schools of America. He helped teach Dri-Eaz Water Damage Restoration Schools with Claude Blackburn throughout the 1980's.

Steve is an IICRC Master Cleaner, Senior Carpet Inspector, Master Restorer, a member for the board of directors of the IICRC and CCINW. Steve has been a technical consultant for CCINW, Water Loss Institutes (WLI), International Society of Cleaning Technicians and the IICRC.

 

Dan Bernazzani

Dan Bernazzani is the President/Owner of Liberty Consulting Indoor Environmental Professionals. As a consultant for over twenty-five years, Dan inspects carpets and flooring materials for manufacturers, fiber mills, and insurance companies.

Dan is the administrator of Liberty Consulting, International Training Schools, and as an approved CEC provider, trains adjusters, managers and restoration technicians throughout the country, in insurance damage repair. Dan also provides expert witness work in court.

He and his wife Janice, own and operate Liberty Consulting Indoor Environmental Professionals from their lab in West Windsor, Vermont, where they provide written reports to property insurers and contractors to establish accurate replacement costs of carpet and flooring in the aftermath of a fire or flood.
